Chip O’Connell
Chip O’Connell is a data scientist at Coleridge, where he works on the State Data Initiatives team. In this capacity, he assists state teams with analyses conducted in the Administrative Data Research Facility as well as other technical needs. He also assists with training activities at Coleridge, leading participating teams through Applied Data Analytics projects, and he works on other projects such as code modernization and research projects. Prior to joining Coleridge, Chip worked for the Council of State Governments for three years, where he worked with the US Department of Labor to modernize their registered apprenticeship database. He earned his Ph.D in Political Science from the University of Kentucky, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Marshall University.
